Paul Carcaterra grew up with Rob Kavovit in Yorktown Heights, New York, and won three state championships at Yorktown High School with him in 1991, 1992, and 1993. He then played college lacrosse alongside his lifelong best friend at Syracuse, and won a national championship with him in 1995. Carc gave this touching tribute to his friend at the start of the Syracuse-Holy Cross game on March 21, 2021.
